Assign characters to players
Once you've decided which story you want to experience, assign which players will be which characters.
For example, there are five characters in "Blue Hole Mystery: The Town at Dawn and the Miraculous Blue." Choose from each character who you would like to experience the story as.

Read the story
Once you have decided which character you will be playing, read the character sheet, which contains information about that character's background and secrets.

Discussion and investigation
After reading the character sheet, the story begins. Hide your secrets while talking to other characters and investigating the scene.

Voting and reveal ending
After discussion and investigation, the final decision on who the "culprit" is will be decided by majority vote. Vote for who you think is the "culprit." Depending on the results of the vote and other conditions, there are different endings. How the story ends is up to you!

Post-game review
Once you've completed the ending, your story experience will be over.
Look back on the story with the people you played with and share your thoughts, such as "Actually, that's what I was thinking at that time" or "I never thought that what they said at that time was a lie!”
Where can you play Madamis?
There are four main places where you can play Madamis.
1. Madamis specialty stores
This is the way to play at a Madamis specialty store, which has locations all over the country.
The store will provide you with a place to play Madamis and a professional moderator (called a Game Master), so you can enjoy an immersive experience.
Estimated Price: 4,000-7,000 yen/person
2. Madamis apps
This is how to play using a Madamis app. If you want to enjoy Madamis easily, this method is recommended as you can play without leaving your home. There are many types of games, from free to paid, and the app also acts as the game master, so you can play anytime, anywhere, with anyone.
Estimated Price: 0-2000 yen/person
3. Package
You can also buy a box package containing all the materials for playing Madamis at home or in a rental space.
Estimated Price: 3,000 to 8,000 yen / box (400 to 1,200 yen per person)
4. Online
(PDF + call tools)
Play using a PDF purchased from the 'BOOTH' site while talking through tools like LINE or Discord. Estimated Price: 0-3500 yen/person
Tips for Playing Madamis
Here are a few things to keep in mind before you dive in.
! Beware of spoilers
Due to the nature of Madamis, you can only play it once. If you want to share your thoughts that include spoilers, please use the “Spoiler-allowed thoughts” feature on mdms.jp.
! Respect the time
The game has a "discussion" phase, which has a time limit, please respect the time limit and play fairly.
! Respect other players
The best part of Madamis is the story that is born from the interactions with other players. There are scenes where players suspect or question each other, but please keep this within the scope of the performance and acting. The other players are your companions in the game.
! Enjoy the story
Instead of just directly reading out what's written on your character sheet, playing from their perspective will help immerse everyone into the game. Even if you're not confident in acting, we encourage you to try roleplaying as the character.
